In her first ever representative coaching role last year, Suz led a squad of under 12 girls brand new to representative basketball . . . her “little champions” . . . to our first ever girls MJL Championship. They also walked away with the title at the Nunawading Spectres Queens Birthday Tournament, and were semi finalists at the Coastal Classic.
Suz was a representative player for 12 years at Bankstown Bruins, and was selected to represented NSW in the under 20s in 1995. A PDHPE and Maths teacher with 13 years experience by trade, Suz has also coached a number of school and club teams during this time.
Suz has two kids, Nick and Hannah, playing with the Bulls.
From Suz . . . I love coaching at the Bulls because the players always put in 100% and are committed, coachable and want to improve their game. They also have plenty of fun in the process. The Bulls club community is very energetic, inclusive and family oriented. They are very loyal and always put the players as their first priority. The club is growing bigger and stronger every year and it is great to be a part of it. The Bulls provide more than great coaching and the opportunity play the game of basketball at a high levelthis club the culture is also about developing and supporting the players to reach their individual potential and be their best self in all areas of life. I wouldn’t want to coach anywhere else!
